Hi,

I am familiar with JavaScript etc. but when I open my Google Drive and choose ‘create’ there is no option ‘more –> script’. Can you tell me why I don’t have this option?

Excelent job. I’ve expecting this solution for while and I´d like to ask how hard it’d be to “filter” specifically email keys (as in Gmail filter) to archive into a specifically GDocs folder?

Hi Marcello, thanks for this nice script. It can definitely be useful to develop something or to debug.
For everyone wanting to use this, please note this script will only work for the defined field values.
To make the script work, after creating the 3 files, make sure you have changed the ‘YOURDOMAINNAME.COM’ to your actual domain in ‘Shared Contacts Group.gs’ line 27.
Run the ‘init’ function which will authorise access to contacts.
Then, in the spreadsheet select the ‘Initialize shared contact’ menu which will populate the spreadsheet, and the ‘Clear shared contacts’ will clear the spreadsheet to start fresh.
To delete, add or edit a contact you will need to add the CREATE/UPDATE/DELETE values to the Action column and then select ‘Synchronize shared contact’ menu

Hi Marcello,

If I create two copies of the spreadsheet, will I be able to sync one group of contacts into one and another group the second spreadsheet? Say “Vendors” to one, “Customers” to the other.

Hi there! I stumbled across this site today and wow, I’m so excited! the only bummer is that all of my folders are organized into folders and I need to be able to know what’s changed inside of them, too.

I beg of you to consider making a version that will check subfolders because no, according to Google, they do not appear interested in developing this feature. Despite this long-running thread here and claiming it’s bee “COMPLETED”:

The sad thing was that the functionality existed when it was just Google Docs, but now that it’s Drive – nope. This feature only exists for spreadsheets. I desperately need this feature… and as you can see in the post, so do many, many others. :/

You consider the introduction of software purchase of services to assist the user, G-mail transfer to the driver.
Use the script in Google will be limited, and I can not store large amounts of mail at once.
